YOUR CLASS NOTEBOOK

It is an excellent idea to have a notebook or journal of your Tai Chi Chuan journey and lessons that you routinely add to. It is a personal source to reference your studies.

A notebook can be any 3-ring binder, new or used that is dedicated to your studies.

Notebooks should include the following:

-Dated entries: have a documented timeline

-Arrange and categorize the notebook so it is organized

-A journal of important class topics and discussions, to include class handouts and your personal notes on the classes you have attended

-Forms, Drills, and Techniques learned

-You may wish to print off some of these handouts on this page over time to include in your notebook.

Practicing at home is also very important. When you practice at home, you will show noticeable improvements in your skills. A well composed notebook gives you a valuable source of reference on which to draw upon.

THE TAO
"The Tao gives birth to all beings,
nourishes them, maintains them,
cares for them, comforts them, protects them,
takes them back to itself,
creating without possessing, acting without expecting,
guiding without interfering.
That is why love of the Tao is in the very nature of things."
